Playing for the Cagers is one of my most meaningful experiences. Coach Hamsher set standards that encouraged both personal growth and teamwork. The Cager Code not only shaped me as an athlete, but also fostered values of excellence, discipline, and responsibility that continue to guide me beyond the court.

Cager Basketball. Not many know about it but the ones that do understand the passion for not only basketball but for our Lord and Savior. I personally believe that Cagers basketball is a great path for young men to learn about life skills, themselves as a person, and the gospel. Basketball was never a sport I saw myself being successful in, but Coach Hamsher helped me find a person within myself that I didn't know. I have carried on my Cager ways, and it has brought me to amazing things outside of basketball. It brought me closer to the Lord and helped me become the man I am today. Some might think it's just basketball but it's the way to success. While using the Cager Way, I have been able to become a professional baseball player and fulfilling my dream of becoming a business owner of Big Dawgz Training. It all started with Coach Hamsher and his determination to better me as a young man. If there is one way you should do it.... it's the Cager Way!

Our son is a multi-sport athlete who enjoys basketball. Cagers provided him with a competitive basketball experience without the time commitment that high school basketball requires. In addition, he learned valuable lessons in character and leadership through Cagers’ personal development program. We are very grateful for Coach Hamsher and the Cagers program for the positive influence on our son during his teenage years.

Cagers basketball was an excellent opportunity for me to play basketball competitively in a scene outside of my high school. I appreciated the message Coach Hamsher gave to us all regarding our faith. He planted the seed of being a Christ-like young man all while being able to learn and compete in the game of basketball.

The Cagers basketball team has been an amazing opportunity for our son. He gets to play the sport he loves, but more importantly, character is being built on and off the court. The focus on learning how to work together as a team and being there for each other was important to us. We're thankful for Coach Hamsher and the experience he brings to this program.

Our son's experience with the Cagers was held to only one year, due to unforeseen circumstances, but in that year's time, our son gained self-confidence and established a deeper faith with the spiritual practices that made the Cagers a special, unique team. He developed stronger, more personal skills playing as the "center" man, and he was consistently encouraged and uplifted by the coaching staff. Our son's time with the Cagers helped him exceed beyond his own expectations and capabilities as a ball player, and by being a man that walks by faith. My son will always be grateful for the solid foundation that was laid for him during his season with the Cagers, that has only helped him rise above ever since. No regrets at all.
