Character is both developed and revealed by tests, and all of life is a test.

Everywhere you look there is something that has been built. A house, car, or business are examples of things that have been built. In order to build, the builder or company must have a blueprint to follow. That blueprint follows a carefully constructed plan where all of the parts work together in unison to carry out the orders of the blueprint. Those parts could be the correct tools, contractors, or department heads that work together for the good of the project. Quite often the project being built is for the betterment of society as a whole—a better vehicle, a house for a family to live in, a business that creates a product or service and employs people. And throughout this process of building, leaders, builders, or companies thrive on being levelheaded. They make tough-minded decisions based on fundamentally sound principles in order to build success.  

The same can be said of men. The Bible talks about how God made (Built) men in His own image. Scripture talks about how men are fearfully and wonderfully made with unique individual gifts best used in unity with others to positively impact the world. Men do not have an easy task. It is tough living up to the standard that God has made for each man. But through the toughness to persevere and not quit, each man can accomplish what God has built him to do.  

This year the Cagers are focusing on being God BUILT. Having a Blueprint for life. Using individual gifts to Unify the whole. Being an Impact player and making every space that your two feet occupy better. Practicing being Level-headed in all things. And exercising the gift of Toughness. This world needs men who are God BUILT. Men who will help build a better world and lead others toward Jesus.
