About the Cagers

The Cagers are a club basketball program out of Orrville, Ohio that currently fields two teams, Jr. High Boys and Varsity Boys. The teams are made up of players who are not currently on a roster for their respective school district teams. 

Teams practice about twice a week and have a game or two a week. Both teams start practicing in mid to late November and run through mid to late February. Practices are held at a location in or around Orrville.

In most years the Cagers play a competitive 12-15 game schedule versus small private high school, home school, or other club like teams. All games are within about an hour radius from Orrville.  

Home games for the 2024-2025 season will be at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (7605 Pleasant Home Rd, Sterling, OH 44276).

The cost of playing for the Cagers for the 2023-2024 season is JH—$175 and Varsity—$200. This covers all expenses such as officials, equipment, etc. that basketball teams need to run a program, as well as the Cager Gear clothing package for each player. The coaches are volunteer. Their payment is the opportunity to invest in young lives.
